Gloria Ferrer -  Sonoma, California

    Brut Rosé

    Tasting Notes

Sparkling wine aficionados the world over admire rosé for its delicate pink hue, brilliant fruit characteristics and superb affinity with food. The character of this wine is most strongly influenced by the elegance of Pinot Noir blended with a smaller amount of Chardonnay for structure and extended length on the finish. the Gloria Ferrer Brut Rosé is a limited release cuvée, and is only available at the winery’s tasting room and in select restaurants.

The Carneros Brut Rosé appears to be lit from within, exhibiting a brilliant salmon color and an endless stream of minute bubbles. Vibrant aromas of wild strawberry, rosehip and citrus mark the bouquet while the palate displays a crisp blood orange character and lemon flavors in the finish.
