Deakin Estate is located in Australia’s Mildura region at Red Cliffs in North West Victoria. The estate vineyard is sustainably farmed with 365 acres under vine. The winery was named after Alfred Deakin, the former prime minister of Australia, who first transformed the region into an "agricultural oasis" in the 1880s. Our efforts are focused on producing fruit of the highest quality and expressive, affordable, wines with true varietal character.
Our vineyard and winery complex is at Red Cliffs, near Mildura in the Murray Valley of North West Victoria. We have 350 hectares (865 acres) under vine. It is warm and sunny here where the great Murray River brings life to the region.
Our efforts are focused on producing fruit of the highest quality and expressive wines brimming with flavor and varietal character.
The Deakin Estate range of wines was launched in 1994 in limited quantities. Since then our investment in extensive vineyard plantings has allowed us to share our distinctively Australian wines with customers around the world.
Deakin Estate wines can now be found in 28 countries outside Australia.
